About Ben Cooper

My name is Ben Cooper. I am a Multimedia Designer in my 4th year at the National Institute of Design within Swinburne University.

Motion Graphics, Video Production, Interaction and User Experience are things that are my passions through design along with a love of illustration and guerrilla art. I like the idea of communicating the visual message to engage with a persons opinion and interest.

During 2007 I completed a year of Industry Placement at an online marketing agency Citrus. This provided me with great knowledge of the inner workings and planning of larger sized projects working with clients such as Sportsgirl, Borders and the Victorian Racing Club.

Currently I am working freelance on my own as a practising Designer under the company name Pixel Rodeo. Working at this stage mainly as a Graphic and Web Designer hoping to eventually gain clients in online motion design for web.

Other interests include an obsession with Wakeboarding and a keen member of the Swinburne University Waterski & Wakeboarders club as a committee member. This providing me with opportunities in doing t-shirt and promotion design for the club with pretty much free creative reign which is nice!
Music, Fashion, Festivals, Hocky, & Photography are among other things I get up to in my spare time.
